Today went better than I had intended when I originally planned it late last night. We were able to sleep in and then we headed to Woodburn to the Tulip Festival with friends. We drove back roads to get there so we could avoid the traffic on I-5. The drive was beautiful.We arrived and enjoyed a picnic lunch with our friends and then walked around the tulip fields. The flowers were so beautiful. We each had different favorites. I know of several varieties that will make their appearance in our yard next spring. Tulips are my favorite flowers!
